Beschreibung
'A Doll's House'' - is a work by a Norwegian playwright, founder of the European «new drama», poet and publisher H. Ibsen (1828-1906). This most popular author's play was created in 1879. The topic of it - is the position of a woman in the society. The heroine says to her husband: «here I have been your doll-wife, just as at home I used to be papa's doll-child. And the children, in their turn, have been my dolls». The conception of the play is interesting: there is a gradual opening of the inner trouble and tragedy which is hidden behind the outwardly happy cover of the protagonists' life.
