Seminar paper from the year 2012 in the subject Psychology - Work, Business, Organisational and Economic Psychology, grade: B, Stanford University, language: English, abstract: Sexuality, by means of which man and woman give themselves to one another through the acts which are exact and exclusive to better half, is by no means something purely biological, but concerns the closer to center point being of the human person as such. It is recognized in a truly human way only if it is an integral part of the love by which a man and a woman commit themselves totally to one another until their death. (Peplau 37) In the regards of a culture which seriously distorts or entirely misguide the true meaning of human sexuality, because it separates it from its necessary reference to the person, the Church more urgently feels how irreplaceable is her mission of presenting sexuality as a value and task of the whole person, created male and female in the image of God. (Justin 212) Sexuality affects all aspects of the human person in the unity of his body and mortal. It related affectivity, the capacity to love and to procreate and in a more general way the aptitude for forming bonds of communion with others. (Peplau 39) DIMENSION OF HUMAN SEXUALITY Human sexuality is an important part of our personality. It requires the interrelationship of psychological, biological and sociocultural dimension.
