series presents monographs and collected volumes on Linguistics, Literature and Culture in the fields of English Language and Literatures as well as Linguistics. Topics include (among others) problems and methods of SLA (Second Language Acquisition), English-Polish contrastive linguistics, intertextuality, and studies on 19th century literature and authors.

The Author: Iwona Kokorniak is a lecturer in the School of English at Adam Mickiewicz University, Pozna? (Poland). Her research interests focus on cognitive linguistics, cognitive semantics and contrastive analysis in particular. She has published several papers on prepositions in English and Polish.
