Public libraries are an international phenomenon although they differ in policies, practices and governance. This edited book will examine the contexts of governance from the perspective of leaders, practitioners, researchers, decision makers, and the service users. The various themes will address challenges of the connections and disconnections between policy and practice, and values and ethics.
