Dr. Shishir Sinha is currently Associate Professor in Department of Chemical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, India. He holds doctorate degree in chemical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India, Dr. Sinha is having more than ten years of teaching and research experience. His area of expertise is polymer surface modification. He has published more than 65 papers in international, national journals and conferences. He is member of many technical and professional bodies like Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers, Institution of Engineers etc. Dr.Sinha has handled several research projects related to polymer surface modifications and guided various M.Tech and Ph.D. students in the area of chemical engineering. He has been associated with various administrative responsibilities of I.I.T. Roorkee.Vinay Kumar is currently lecturer in the Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLIET), Longowal. Graduated form Harcourt Butler Technological Institute Kanpur, he holds M Tech from National Institute ofTechnology Jalandhar. Mr. Kumar is having 12 years industrial experiences in plastic processing industries at various positions such as Astt. Manager, Works Manager. His key areas are Rotational molding, Injection Molding, Master Batches. Published 15 technical/research papers in various National and International Journals. Instrumental in designing number of experiments related to polymer science and technology, polymer synthesis, polymer processing, polymer testing and characterization laboratories and development of these labs in the SLIET. Designed the syllabi of various subjects related to polymer field in SLIET. Guiding/co guiding number of M Tech and B Tech students for their thesis work. Currently working on are search project entitled as Studies on Mechanical Properties of Rice HuskPoly Propylene Composites sanctioned by AICTE.
