In "Das sieht nach dir aus", Ina Weise juxtaposes photographs of herself, her mother, and her grandmotherall wearing the same blouses, jackets, and trousersbut at different stages of their lives, in different contexts, and in various locations. Recreated and retold. Parallels emerge, but also differences. Above all, however, a connection is revealed. The photographs not only document the past but also make visible how garments connect three women from different generations, their life worlds, and the contrasting political systems of the former GDR and todays Federal Republic of Germany.
