The second Volume contains 40 solo pieces for an extended instrumentation of a Marching section, with snare drum, parade drum, Bass Drum, tom toms and cymbals. The Solos, wich are written in different length, are divided in separate Sections. Whereas in the first chapter simple rhythms are being played, more filigree structures, like grace notes rolls and accents, are followed after.

André Oettel, born in 1976, studied at the Los Angeles College of Music (formerly known as Los Angeles Music Academy). Since 2001 he lives and works again in Germany. His activities include long-term teaching at various music schools and institutions, as well as a live and studio musician.
