The Faunistisch-Ökologische Mitteilungen are an open access journal. Published are information on all animal species groups of northern Germany (with the exception of birds) as well as original research on ecological or conservation-related faunistic questions from this region. The current issue contains papers on the giant sawfly Tremex fuscicornis, Campodorus paradiesensis sp. nov., ground beetles, ichneumon wasp species and dragonfly fauna.
