Working across time zones, their work brings together diverse contexts, languages, and building traditions. Founder Martin Jasper made his name in Europe with a sculptural redesign that turned a former department store, near East Berlins former central train station Ostbahnhof, into a multi-purpose office landscape. In South America, his work includes the ENAÍ holiday resort in the Peruvian Amazon rainforest, as well as the high-rise residential building 12 PARC and the Nestlé headquarters in Ecuador. The award-winning architecture offices designs are characterized by an engagement with new living and working paradigms and the tension between local and universal architectural language. This trilingual monograph presents the firms transatlantic work to an international audience for the first time, showcasing both built and unbuilt designsfrom slender high-rises to typological studies and constructions in tropical wood. Martin Jasper ist Architekt, Künstler, Nachhaltigkeitsbotschafter, Visionär und Kosmopolit. Aufgewachsen in Ecuador, Deutschland, Peru und Chile, gründete er kurz nach seinem Studium an der Berliner Universität der Künste, am Politécnico di Milano, der Escuela de Arquitectura de la Universidad Católica de Valparaíso und der Accademia di Belli Arti di Brera Milano, das Studio Jasper Architects. Christiane Fath arbeitet als Kuratorin und ist Herausgeberin von Architekturpublikationen. Sie hat Architektur in Mailand, Berlin, Aleppo und Weimar sowie Kulturmanagement in Berlin studiert. Bis 2019 leitete sie das Corporate Publishing-Abteilung der Fachzeitschrift Bauwelt. Sie ist Gründerin der Galerie framework in Berlin/Wien und seit 2020 Vorstand der internationalen Non-Profit-Organisation Diversity In Architecture, zudem außerordentliches Mitglied im BDA.
