Beschreibung
By means of perceptive black and white photographs of inhabitants and everyday scenes, accompanied by fictitious letters and quotes from world literature, Ingrid von Kruse presents an unknown, mysterious, but also traditional Venice that rarely reveals itself to fleeting visitors. Her expressive portraits of aristocrats and artists, of philosophers and figures from the Commedia dellarte, or of idlers and gondolieri, depict a magical portrait of the lagoon city.
