Beschreibung
Quakers have made an appearance several times in the course of my genealogical quest, but only among more or less distant cousins, up to now. Their stoic perseverance in the face of official persecution has always impressed me, so I am proud to present a Quaker who is my direct ancestor.
Jonathan Kingham, born in 1620, is my 7th great grandfather. He was a Quaker and a miller in the parish of Wooburn, Buckinghamshire, where a river called the Wye flows into the Thames.
This book looks at his origins, his life, and the world he lived in.
