The author of "Life, Love and Beyond" moved from Berlin to Jerusalem in 1999. Living in a different country changed her worldview in general and her attitude towards life in particular. Her new collection of poems reflects her thoughts and ideas about life and nature and provides us with a few glimpses into her private ups and downs in life.

Heidemarie I. Wawrzyn:Heidemarie Wawrzyn grew up in Berlin, Germany and studied History of Religions at the University of Bremen. After receiving her doctorate, she moved to Israel in 1999, where she worked at different German and Jewish institutes. Until her retirement in 2016, she was employed by the L. A. Mayer Museum for Islamic Art in Jerusalem. It was not until 2014 that she started writing poetry.
