The present book discusses the economic analysis of Integrated Farming Systems in Southern Rajasthan, India. The study was conducted in rainfed and irrigated conditions in Chittorgarh (non-tribal) and Banswara (tribal) district of Southern Rajasthan with the aim to identify the existing farming systems, cost and return, income, employment, production function and constraints faced by the farmers. This subject is of high significance and considered in the agro-economic setting. Emphasis is laid on the interactions between technical and economic aspects of farming. Information about farmers demographic features, climate, and socio institutional factors is discussed. The strength of this book is extensive review and literature citation to give a snapshot of state of art research in Integrated Farming Systems.

Author working as Assistant Professor in Agricultural Economics & Management during last 10 years. He is working as CO-PI in two Projects. He is teaching U.G and P.G classes during last one decade. He published more than 25 research papers in national and international journals and three book chapters in different text books.
