Plants, the beauty of nature have been the basis of treating human ailments. The current accepted modern medicine has gradually developed over the years and no doubt is the gift of God in the sense of traditional knowledge about different medicinal plants. Salman Ahmed was awarded M.Phil degree in the field of Pharmacognosy from Department of Pharmacognosy, University of Karachi, Pakistan in 2010. He has around 18 research publications in the field of Pharmacognosy. At present he is Ph.D fellow and also working as a Lecturer in Department of Pharmacognosy, University of Karachi, Pakistan.
