Beschreibung

'Market Enabling through Law in the Digital Age': The digital transformation of markets does not only yield welfare gains, but also entails substantial risks. The latter raise the question whether legal intervention is warranted. The starting point for an answer to this question is that efficient market rules of the pre-digital era should be applied in digital markets. The law can help to enable and preserve markets of this kind and, thereby, also provide the basis for market simulation through law. The present volume is therefore dedicated to both market making and market simulation, which are even more intertwined in the digital age.
