Insects represent over half of the planets biological diversity. In view of the necessity in Entomology learning, we have presented here the extensive collection of more than 6400 entomological terms and their universal meaning. It is an extensive collection of selected terms drawn from the classic entomology reference books and research articles. It provide quick assistance of universal terminology and meaning of different terms in this field to describe the parts or characteristics of insects, This dictionary will be of prime use to students, teachers, researchers, and other having a special interest towards learning in the fields of entomology, ecology, agriculture, fisheries, forestry, palaeontology, zoology, and medical and veterinary science. It will be quite helpful in understanding the fundamentals of this highly technical and intricate branch 'Entomology'. In addition, this will be useful to understand and solve the objective type questions by students of various competitive exams.

Dr.Chetan S. Jawale, M.Sc. Ph.D. in Zoology. Presently working as HOD & Asst. Prof. of Zoology at H.P.T. Arts and R.Y.K. Science College, Nashik (M.S) India (SP Pune University, Pune).
