The study of dynamics of institutional change in emerging markets are subjects of great interest in contemporary political economy. The dynamics and quality of institutional change can have significant impacts on the long-run performance of economies, economic growth and development of nations, and play a fundamental role in societies. It provides a comprehensive understanding of legal-economic institutions, and sheds light on the way to global peace by producing a better understanding of the dynamics of historical change. Nezameddin Faghih is the UNESCO Chair Professor Emeritus, and the Founding Editor-in-Chief of theJournal of Global Entrepreneurship Research (Springer). He has published more than 70 books, 100 research articles, and presented more than 120 invited talks in academia, industry, and professional meetings.

Ali H. Samadi is Associate Professor, Department of Economics, Shiraz University (Iran). He has a PhD in economics of the public sector and his specialty is in institutional economics and econometrics. He is Editor-in-Chief of theIranian Journal of Economic Studies (IJES).
