Autorenportrait

Wolfgang Mieder is Professor of German and Folklore at the University of Vermont, where he has taught for many years together with his colleague and friend Dennis F. Mahoney. Mieder is known for his proverb studies: some of his more recent books include (2010), (2012), and (2015).
