Beschreibung
This book was written by Robert Baden-Powell, the founder of the Scout movement. He recounted his experience as a major-general during The Second Matabele War, which was fought between 1896 and 1897 in Southern Rhodesia (modern-day Zimbabwe). It pitted the British South Africa Company against the Matabele people, which led to conflict with the Shona people in the rest of Southern Rhodesia.
