Aspects of the Governing of the Finns surveys both the political and economic impacts of certain domestic and international forces on Finland. This book follows a wide range of history – from the revolution of 1918 to the present-day uneasiness of ever-encroaching capitalism.

The Author: George Maude received his Ph.D. from the University of London. He has taught throughout Finland, in the universities of Turku and Joensuu. He is the author of numerous works on Finland, including the Historical Dictionary of Finland (2006) and has been honored as a Knight of the Order of the Lion of Finland.
